We did not expect to like Millennium Blades as much as we did, but it easily slides into the #1 spot for us. Millennium Blades stands out in a crowded year with its unique game play and buckets of replay value. If you haven't played Millennium Blades before, it's basically a game about playing a collectible card game. Designer Brad Talton Jr. absolutely captured the essence of what it is to be a CCG player. Millennium Blades is actually more of an economic game than a dueling game, and that's what makes it so special. We could play this game over and over.
